Perhaps user needs to wait till the start up program loaded on to the physical memory of computer. For users who is not tolerated in waiting for the startup programs to be loaded, myself suggesting you the technique to disable the startup programs. When an user likes to enable the startup once again it wont cause you problem. Here is the solution for disabling the startup programs. From the ‘Run’ command of windows type ‘msconfig’. Select the ‘Startup’ tab in the msconfig window. Make choice of the programs you need to be selected by unchecking the combo box corresponding to it. There will be numerous entries in it. So make use of path information adjacent to the entry name. After making your choices, click the apply button and restart the system and hope the choices you made it will be activated. To reactivate the startup programs go on for msconfig window and make the choices once again.

NOTE: The above tips will not be working on Windows 2000 server and if they look to work then they need to download the drivers(click here). and place them on to the C:\Windows\System32 directory.

Steps to Delete an undeletable file.

Hi all,

Have you ever experience the situation of deleting the files is unallowed. This is because the files that are in use might be locked by the explorer.exe process. Sometimes you could have no other option other than the deletion of the locked process. In most cases it could be possible only after restarting the computer. There is also an option to delete the file without restarting the computer(not recommended). Follow the steps to delete such undeletable files.

  1. Open the Command Prompt and navigate to the folder where undeletable file is available

  2. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL key. Select ‘Process’ tab in the ‘Task Manager’ window

  3. Kill the process ‘explorer.exe’ by selecting the ‘End Process’ from the right-click menu

  4. From the command prompt, now delete the undeletable files

  5. Bring up the Task Manager window and create a new task(by selecting file->new task) and type as ‘explorer.exe’ in the ‘create new task’ field.

  6. Click the ‘OK’ button now to revert the changes.

Hope you all got the steps to delete an undeletable file.

File Uploading Web Page.

Hi all,
Almost all mailing service is coming out with the upload limitation of 10 MB. So the users need to look out for an alternative if their need to transfer file exceeds 10 MB capacity. I was just looking the web for this. Almost many uploading web pages are available, I was looking for an user-friendly and secured web pages. The web page which satisfies such criteria is http://www.dropboks.com. I could rate this web page as 5 out of 5. The web page demands only for the authorization of user. The support of multiple file upload is provided. There is an option to provide the deletion of the file by dragging the file(to be deleted) to the trash icon at the bottom of UI. Hope you to enjoy the file uploading there.

Business Ideas?
I happens to see a website www.gigasize.com. I had not tried for it. There been two types of account one as free and other one as Premium account. The Free account holders are allowed to upload file to a maximum of 1.5 GB and the restriction is they could have the file only for 90 days. There is also an option to share the file. Let me analyse a situation, if a free user places some confidential information in his account and the account will expire soon on the 90 days. To regain the information, there is none other than the option to become a premium member.

Real Situation of Software Engineers

Extracted from urbaczewski.com

Software doesn’t just appear on the shelves by magic. That  program shrink-wrapped inside the box along with the  indecipherable manual and 12-paragraph disclaimer notice  actually came to you by way of an elaborate path, through  the most rigid quality control on the planet.   Here, shared for the first time with the general public, are  the inside details of the program development cycle.

  1. Programmer produces code he believes is bug-free.

  2. Product is tested. 20 bugs are found.

  3. Programmer fixes 10 of the bugs and explains to the testing department that the other 10 aren’t really bugs.

  4. Testing department finds that five of the fixes didn’t  work and discovers 15 new bugs.

  5. See 3.

  6. See 4.

  7. See 5.

  8. See 6.

  9. See 7.

  10. See 8.

  11. Due to marketing pressure and an extremely pre-mature product announcement based on overly-optimistic programming schedule, the product is released.

  12. Users find 137 new bugs.

  13. Original programmer, having cashed his royalty check, is nowhere to be found.

  14. Newly-assembled programming team fixes almost all of the 137 bugs, but introduce 456 new ones.

  15. Original programmer sends underpaid testing department a postcard from Fiji. Entire testing department quits.

  16. Company is bought in a hostile takeover by competitor using profits from their latest release, which had 783 bugs.

  17. New CEO is brought in by board of directors. He hires programmer to redo program from scratch.

  18. Programmer produces code he believes is bug-free….
