Bookmarking a Web page – StumbleUpon

Hi all,

                Everyone might have added the bookmark in their browser. It is used for quicker response. What will happens to the bookmark suppose if the browser crashed?. You might lose all the information. Recently so many bookmarking tools been available. I am using StumbleUpon for the past few months. I feel much convenient in this tool. One needs to create a StumbleUpon account by signing up in their web page. StumbleUpon toolbar plug-in is available for free download. Once after installation of the StumbleUpon toolbar, clicking on the stumble button in their toolbar will list the webpage and if you like to bookmark it click on the ‘I like it!’(Hands up) button or else click the dislike(Hands-down) button. Clicking on the Stumble button again it will list the webpage randomly(Actually the webpage are loaded randomly based on the choices preferred by the account holder on creating account).

                       On clicking the Hands-up button, the link for the webpage will be saved in your account and it is reliable one. You could fetch back it anytime. StumbleUpon Download Toolbar is available separately for Windows Internet Explorer browser and for the Mozilla Browser. Meanwhile you have the feature to send the link to anyone through E-mail. Tags are added automatically to the pages you like. The pages you bookmarked will be available in the following URL

YouTube Video Download Tool – TubeSucker

Hi all,

                YouTube, an online video streaming website now on domination over all video sharing websites. The ranking for the page is on the peak. Youtube primarily a privately owned company was bought by Google on pay for a huge amount. Primarily the video could only be shared and could not be downloaded to the local disk.Now so many tools been came into market for downloading the websites. I too tried on many tools. The tool one I inspired is TubeSucker and it’s a freeware tool. Go and search for the tool in google and install the TubeSucker and try on it. Meanwhile it supports video download on google videos and so many online video sharing websites. Once after installation and running the TubeSucker, a home page will be displayed. Search for the videos by keyword. When you need a video to be downloaded, just click on the ‘Download Video’ button. The video streams will be downloaded.

It works fine.

Apple iPhone review

Hi all,                        

                     I got through a website indicating the features and the drawbacks of the Apple iPhone. It was emerged into the market since June 29, 2007. Two ladies was rewarded with huge amount for buying the first iPhones. k what all up in that?. The question almost stood in all of the mind. Perfectly the whole world is now looking on it. Apple iPhone embedded with almost all the features. Embedded camera and fully touch screen(helpful of sending the messages easily). Apple iPhone was build with Safari web browser and on with Mac OS support. It costs around $499 – $599. The memory of the iPhone is on the range of 4GB and 8 GB. AT&T accepted to provide free access to their networks for the contract of 2 years. It can be thought of as a small PC. Apple computer is expecting the total sell out of the iPhone as 20 million at the end of 2008.                    

                      Then coming on to the drawback of the iPhone, it doesnot support 3gpp video streaming format. It is embedded with the 2 mega pixel camera and with no zooming capacity. The total memory of the iPhone is limited to 8GB and there is no external slot for expanding memory is provided. Hope Apple computer will soon remedy over the drawbacks and dominate in this communication media.

Hiding a file inside a JPEG file

Hi all,

                Here is the tips to hide a file inside a picture file. You might be in the need to hide a file from unauthorised users. And this could be achieved through simple DOS command. Let me explain how it could be possible.

                 Consider you have a secret file documents.zip and you need to keep it safe from others. So I hereby guide you to keep so. Let me assume that file be in the ‘D’ directory. Place any picture file in the same directory where secret file is. Go on to the command prompt where the secret file is. Let me assume the name of the picture file is sample.jpg. Then in the command prompt enter the following command.

copy /b sample.jpg+documents.zip success.jpg.

In the execution of above commands, the documents.zip and sample.jpg file will be copied into success.jpg(optional : Delete both the documents.zip and sample.jpg file). In clicking the above success.jpg file, only the picture of sample.jpg will be shown and the file will not be known to the users.

                 The file can be retrieved by right clicking the picture file and opening with WinZip(So always encrypt the file before adding on to the image). Hope this could be useful to you.

Increasing the Internet Speed

Hi all,

                Here with some tips of how to increase the speed of the broadband connection upto 20% faster. To implement before speeding up the broadband speed, first check with the broadband speed. Go and check for ‘CNET bandwidth test’ on google and proceed on with the link and test for the connection speed by providing the country code and the type of connection. Make note of the speed in your connection.

                 Then from the run command enter the ‘gpedit.msc’. Group policy screen will be displayed. From the left pane select the Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> QOS Packet Scheduler. Then from the right pane, double click on the ‘Limit Reservable Bandwidth’. A pop-up window will be displayed. From the popup select the ‘Enabled option’. In the bottom pane, by default the properties for the Bandwidth limit will be 20% and change them to 0%. Click on the Apply button to revert back with changes.  Restart the machine and once again check for the bandwidth test. Hope your broadband speed will be up by 20%.

Note : The above tips work only for the XP and NT systems and it will not work for Windows 9x. Sorry guys/gals, I am not sure about Linux.
